The Soft Skilled School
I’ve always romanticized the idea of going back to school.
But I didn’t really like school, I just liked when these four things came together:
engaging professors
educational content I found super practical and/or interesting to think about
classmates I found smart and cool
feeling like I was growing, stretching, moving in a different direction
So we’re going to try something.
For three months.
I’m going to host a Soft Skilled School. for anyone who wants to join.
And if we like it, I’ll open up registration every quarter. Anyone who joins in this first round will have certain access and pricing privileges - because we are all testing it out together!! Let’s go.
-
Individual: $250/month or $700 for the quarter (this will 100% go up if we continue)
Company: $5,000/month for up to 25 people
College Students: Special pricing, see below
-
At least 1 live workshop each month (I may decide to add more as we go)
Workshops will be recorded and available same day for all students
Slack channel for students, divided by what I think you need to get out of Soft Skilled School, with specific prompts and HW for each group
I will personally review specific prompts and HW and give 1:1 feedback
-
Q: “Grace, can I take your syllabus and materials and bring it back to my team to work with?”
A: I’d be offended if you didn’t.
-
I really want college students to have access to this education. I’m going to offer 20 spots to college students who can prove they are still in college (ID, syllabus and email) at $25/month.
Sign up for the waitlist here and we’ll offer you the option to go through a college specific registration when we open up the program.

Digital Listening
This skill comes straight from a LinkedIn audit I did: it was the number one soft skill people were clearly missing in their profiles, content and comments. The ability to exist in a digital space and actually understand where the conversation is going (vs what popular accounts are saying) is a learned one. This is a skill I believe will become increasingly more critical in the next five years.
Discernment
Discernment is the ability to perceive everything that is going on and choose to zero in on what is actually going to matter. Discernment requires focus and wisdom, and is generally the reason why otherwise high performing people get stuck at mid-level inside their organizations.
Value Rich
This is another skill pulled from the LinkedIn audit; people do not know how to make themselves seem like a valuable person to know, whether IRL or online. This skill is not about innate value (we all have it) but rather about how you communicate with other people when they first encounter you. Every single self made person has it.
